Southern Arts Society

Southern Arts Society, Inc. (SASi) is a non-profit organization founded in 1984 by A.B. Mauney Snow and local artists. Our mission is to promote the arts by training the artist and educating the public to the many talents available in the community.

We provide visual art displays in the community, scholarships for local students, and workshops open to all. A variety of classes in the arts and ceramics are offered throughout the year. While based in Kings Mountain, North Carolina, our membership extends throughout the Carolinas. We gladly welcome new members. All you need is a love and appreciation for the arts.

Kings Mountain Historical Museum

This local museum showcases artifacts, exhibits, and historical items related to the history of Kings Mountain and the surrounding region.

Two Kings Casino

Catawba Two Kings Casino celebrates the Catawba Nation’s history and hopeful future in their ancestral lands in North Carolina. The Two Kings name pays tribute to the 18th century Catawba Chief King Hagler and the City of Kings Mountain. During the Revolutionary War, the Catawba fought alongside the colonists. The identity symbolizes the unique relationship the Catawba people have long had with fellow residents of the region – which will only continue to grow with this project.

Kings Mountain National Military Park

This historical park commemorates the Battle of Kings Mountain, a crucial battle during the American Revolution. Explore the battlefield, visit the visitor center, and learn about the significance of this site in American history.

Joy Performing Arts Center

Kings Mountain Little Theatre, Inc. is a volunteer-based, 501(c)3 non-profit community theater. KMLT is an Arts Council funded in part by a Grassroots Grant from the Carolina Arts Council, a state agency, and is a funded affiliate of the Cleveland County Arts Council.
